The CZ75BD that is my avatar. I got tired of searching for the perfect out of box pistol, so I modified a stock BD into the pistol that I was looking for. It has the perfect trigger break for me, and a nice short reset.

Also, I think this is my first post, so a nice hello to you all. Have a MVP coming to an FFL near me very shortly.

Welcome to the MVP cjive134! I have had several CZ pistols in different flavors over the years. Very accurate and never a hick-up. My favorite was the CZ75 SA, a real nice single action shooter. Hope you get your MVP soon;)

And a decent little carry gun. Wolff springs all the way around, polished feed ramp, polished barrel, polished slide stop/release. Polished crown. Dehorned all the way around, and in a FANTASTIC OWB by by Gary Betz from Betz Custom Leather.

Thanks! I think she's beautiful as well but in a different sprt of way.

Rugers faux case hardening was literally just a dye or something applied to the steel. It was so bad it would
Instantly rust in people's safes. Ruger admitted they done wrong and for a time there they would entirely re blue the gun for you. They actually stopped doing the case coloring thing because it sucked so bad.

When I got this gun it had exactly 25 rounds through it. However the frame was all brown. Just this ugly ugly color. Didn't look like case hardening at all. So I cleaned it up some in order to get it where it is. There is almost no color left to it but now the finish sort
Of looks like a 150 year old colt. I just need to get the bluing worn in to match the rest haha.

Toss up there. Lots of kinds of handgun. Each has a special place.

For really laying the stomp down one round at a time, TC Encore with a 14" barrel in something like .444Marlin or .308win. It's the most painful thing I've ever shot in a pistol but it works on basically everything.
For combat, nothing like the first gen of Glock G21's. When I carry, it's usually that.
For a .22 I actually like the Colt Woodsman better than any other including the Ruger MkI/II/III. Sweet shooting and silky. Refined upside a Ruger.
For a revolver I'm a big fan of Dan Wesson 15's. A completely user serviceable .357 wheelgun with more nifty features than you can shake a stick at. Just stick with Monson guns.

You said wheel gun ? this is my favorite . it has accounted for more than its share of whitetails . I carry it frequently when out and about on my property due to hogs, an expanding population of black bear and apparently moutain lions .

taurus raging bull 6 inch barrel chambered in 480 ruger .

Hard to pick my favorite honestly. My peaked and tweaked 1911, my Super Redhawk, my Woodsman, difficult to choose between since they are all so different.

My favorite is my three screw Ruger Blackhawk 7 1/2 inch 45 Colt. Second would be my Walther made Colt Gold Cup Match 22lr followed closely by my Ruger 9e 9mm. The 9e is my carry weapon.

First would be my Steyr L9-A1. Very different handgun with unusual sights and very smooth striker fired trigger.

Second would be my Glock 30S.
