They also sell them on ebay.
Tried some gen 2 Hexmags I just got in. They fit the same as the Magpul magazines. They will go in but need a good slap on the bottom to lock. I have some D&H 30 Round, Aluminum magazines on order. I'll see how they fit when they come in. I suspect they will slip right in like the stock magazine since the material will be thinner at the lip radius.
Finally got the D&H Aluminum 30 round magazines in. They snap right in, loaded or not. The latch hole appears to be a bit larger than the notch on the Magpul and Hexmag magazines. That may be the "issue" as to why the polymer mags are so tight and/or it could be because they have to be thicker to have the same strength of a metal magazines.. I want to try some Brownells and ASC mags in the future but I think the will be fine. Either way, I will give an update.
Anyone got some metal mags they want to swap for some Hexmags and a Magpul mag?
Just got my mag well and trigger guard. Placed order on Monday had parts on Thursday, Cant beat that. My mvp would not feed with any mags unless you held the mag while working the bolt . With the tromix mag well all ar mags fight nice and tight and the bolt runs smooth now. Two huge thumbs up for tromix.
Any plans to release a .308 version of the magwell - esp. now that Cross Hair Precision may not be pursuing it any longer?
I would be interested in his reply but, .308 pieces have been asked about in the past and Tony replied to the negative. There just isn't enough market interest to justify the expense in developing and selling parts. They did have a couple of pieces there for a while but discontinued them due to lack of demand.
