    HR 4269.
    Unless I'm reading it wrong only what's named on the proposed exemption list would be allowed. Everything else would be banned. I didn't see MVP on the proposed list.

    Pretty much feel good script, can't see it getting any traction. More for election fodder.

    AWB bill of '94 had no traction so they waited until around one in the morning and when they had the minimum number hand picked politicians on hand for a quorum they passed it , literally the dark of the night.

    I know Representative Rothus will not vote for it but if for some reason it does get out of the House and into the Senate, I have no confidence in either of my Senators. The one says he supports the Second Amendment and our long tradition of hunting. The other is Pat Toomey, who keeps trying to get that stupid background check bill to go through with Manchin from West Virginia. I think it's a foregone conclusion what the President will do.

    I will just be an outlaw then. I'm not handing over any of my property.

    What can I say? I lived through the first AWB. It was also "Feel Good" legislation whos greatest impact was thumbhole stocks and pricey hi-cap mags. I continue to be disappointed and disgusted by our legislators in Washington who expend great effort to produce this senseless legislation, yet continue to be terrorist sympathizers as we are set up to be lambs led to the slaughter. All this is the set up for King Obama, the "Shepard of Fire" to come in and save us all with an executive order on gun control.

    Hmmmm....

    (3) Paragraph (1) shall not apply to any firearm that—
    “(A) is manually operated by bolt, pump, lever, or slide action;

    Time to check out that lever action I was looking at.
    But then, I live in NJ, and pea shooters are outlawed in this "state".
