Picked it up this morning - checkout this bad boy:
Nice PCC. 9mm?
Yep - 9mm, straight blowback - doesn’t have a locking bolt like a typical AR though.
Cheese n rice that's nice !
Details ? Inquiring minds want to know
I built a PSA 9mm but it uses Colt/Uzi style mags. Hell of a lot of fun to shoot.
I like the UZI mag lowers - there are a few available over here, but the availability of mags is an issue.
The Glock mags are a bit of a compromise, as the slot in slightly diagonally - but there's lots of choice (sources, makes and capacity).
OK, it's a 9mm lever-release rifle, made by Southern Gun Company here in the UK.
It has a 12.5" bull barrel made by Lothar Walther.
Upper, lower and QR handguard are in house billet items.
Carbine (commercial) buffer with Magpul CTR and MOE grip.
Tuned trigger and ambi mag release.
Topped off with an Eotech 518.
That's it really - spent a while saving for this setup, but it's been worth the wait.
Here it is at the range:
And a quick 3 shot sample group at 25m:
"lever release" I'm not familiar with that. Is that like auto ejecting/work a lever to feed ? If it is it sounds intriguing.
Pretty much exactly that - you cock it with the T handle just like a normal AR - but the bolt will always lock back.
There's a small spring-loaded lever on the left side (roughly where the safety would usually be). Press the lever, a round is chambered. Fire off a shot and it self-ejects and locks the bolt back once more. Click the lever again and fire another shot...
It's a nice system - and complies with UK law (as semi auto and pump centre fire rifles are banned).
Interesting concept and sounds neat ! might be the cats meow for some people in some places over here too. I'm off to go watch some videos on it.
