    That's a lot of handgun. I could never justify buying anything like that (s&w 500, desert eagle. 50 etc.) Just because would shell out a metric crap ton of money for a gun I would only shoot once (so I could say I fired a handheld bear canon) and then kept it in my safe for eternity. I would be better off just shooting a friend's handheld elephant gun but my gun owning friends adhere to a similar philosophy as mine.

    .45 ACP is plenty of gun for what I need a handgun for

    I had a Ruger 480 Alaskan along with a S&W 2 1/2" 500 once...................both were handfuls!!!

    A .460 S&W magnum with the cylinder cut for moon clips and a .450 Raptor barrel for my .308 MVP would be nice. Shoot the same ammo out of both guns.

    Nice plan!

    I have always thought about the ruger Alaskan in .454 with a Puma (Rossi?) M92 in .454 to go with it. Nothing like a wheel gun and lever gun!
