    Did a little update to my "ranch rifle." Not that I didn't like my original stock stripped and stained and finished, but I just wasn't 100% sold. So I went the Boyd's stock route. It's longer than the original stock but the contours are really nice and comfortable. Will post pictures later with mag attached and sling. Also switched out the birdcage.

    It's sad I about sold this thing. Took it out today and ran it out to 600 yds, I forgot just how much fun these are. Haven't shot it in over a year. Shot some reloads that I made up a few years ago when I didn't know much about it. I was getting consistent 1 inch groups, I'm working up some ladder tests for it now.

    I recently upgraded my optic on my lr 308 to a trijicon 4x16x50 with moa reticle and its setting next to my savage fcp-sr topped with a trijicon accupower 2.5x10x56 . I enjoy shooting both.
