As we all start to get our MVP's please post pics to show what you have done to the rifle or with the rifle. I would really like to see the kinds of scopes guys are putting on them that bought the bare bones model like me. So please start posting, lets just try to keep this a pics only thread with minimal txt. Just pics and a list of accessories on your particular rifle.

Is that a Tru-Glo infinity scope? I have a 6-24x44 that looks just like that. I plan on using it on my gun as well. I'd LOVE to see pics of the trigger group and how it looks as that will be the first thing I tinker with when I get it. I'm going to see how close to a 1lb pull I can get it to. I got my Savage 93R17 to 1lb, 2oz and its phenomenal.

The scope is a Mueller Eraticator 8.5-25x50. It has very fine cross hairs and a 1/16 MOA illuminated dot. The scope is huge, I wish it was smaller. I haven't shot it yet but I have been looking through it a lot and I really like it. I never even heard of Mueller before I bought it, I just googled Prairie Dog Scopes and it came up a few times, it was what I was looking for and the price fit my current budget. I'll let you guys know how I like it after I have used it. I pulled the stock off my rifle to lighten the trigger pull. The owners manual explains how to do it and it was very easy. Mossberg says in the owners manual that the trigger pull is adjustable from 2 - 7 lbs and the trigger comes set at the factory minimum. When I pulled out the trigger group I couldn't back out the adjustment screw anymore with out worrying that it would fall out. It specifically says to not remove that screw. I don't have a trigger pull scale but I would not guess the trigger is anywhere near 2 lbs. And I thought the LBA was a two stage trigger but I can pull the trigger without engaging the blade. So I'm not sure that is working correct. The trigger is very crisp, its just not light. I have a Wilson Combat TTU 4lb single stage on one of my AR's and it feels lighter than my MVP. I also have a after market trigger on my Marlin 1895 GBL that is around 3 or 4 lbs that is a lot lighter than the MVP. I'll try to get a scale and a real measurement in the future as well.

Here are a few pics of it all set up. Harris Bi Pod, Turner Saddlery Sling, Mueller Scope, and you guys can see what a 20 round mag looks like in the rifle.

I picked up my MVP on Thursday. I grabbed a set of Leupold Rifleman medium rings and put my 6-18 x40 VX II on this morning. I haven't had a chance to bore sight it yet, just checked eye relief and scope clearance. Thought I would post a few pics.

Well, finally got mine today. Waiting for rings and scope at this point. Not gonna go anything high dollar on the optics on this one, but it will be sufficient for sure.

Well, here she be! I am a bit bummed that there is a little crack in the laminate right at the very front from what appears to be shipping damage but I just repaired it on my own and am calling it a day. This gun will probably get more use than that so eventually when Boyd or others make a stock I may switch it out to something different someday anyway. I may also go with a textured pistol grip and fore end grip and paint it matte black anyway so it won't really show. So far its been a great gun and getting it all dialed in and bore sighted now has been great, just have to get it to the range to see what it likes for ammo.

My MVP looks funny, the right side has no brown and is mostly black and grey. With the left side having normal colors of brown/black/grey. Ill get pics up when I get my scope in

Picked my MVP up this past Wednesday. (4-18) Here she stands wearing not so good Weaver Grand Slam rings and a hypothetical adjustable cheek riser mod. (Perhaps if I step up to a 50mm or 56mm objective. Don't even know if I would need to. Just wanted to see what it would look like. ;) ) Scope = Nikon Buckmaster 4.5-14x40. Mil Dot Reticle.
Cheap china pete Harris bi-pod clone.

Next, are two photos of how she stands now. Nikon BM Scope , Redfield medium rings, China Pete bipod, Sans cheek riser.

Got mine from my FFL at 1:00 PM today and by 3:30 I was at the range trying it out. Lots of fun the stock is quite short fo me. Got the scope sighted in. This evening made some spacers for the buttplate. 3 - 1/4" plastic pieces I got out of the scrap bin at a sign shop this morning. I will be making a better spacer than these but I wanted to see how this length of pull works for me. Oh also installed a piece piece picatinny rail wasn't qite a bolt on but it fits 3 of the four screws 2 front and 1 in the back.
