Easy enough to make yourself. Buy a sheet of .080 thick-ish kydex, use boiling water to soften for forming, form using the rifle stock as a mold. I've made a ton of them. Costs me about 5 dollars to do.

I've made enough of them to say, they're a hack job meant to let people that can't afford a proper stock meant for how they're shooting get the stock layout they need. 300-800 bucks for a nice fibreglass stock with a tall comb isn't something I expect every shooter to be able to deal with and this is where the kydex stuff comes into useful play. It's still a hack and hacks come with some side effects.

Kydex is hard and recoil doesn't make it feel good against bare skin especially when it's cold to the touch. They like to get cockeyed while you're using them and not all stocks are appropriate. If your stock is hollow then I'd fill the cavity where you're going to put the bolts through with epoxy or expanding foam so when you clamp down the riser it doesn't crush your stock. Be aware that Kydex is a thermoplastic polymer so if it gets too hot it'll warp/deform/melt.

Riser? You must be scoped,. I use an old mousepad and Coban wrap on my Predator, and wrap the neoprene to the top of the stock. Kydex works great too

I have problems getting my eyes down the barrel of the Patrol using iron sights with the stock the way it is. The only modifications to use it is Motrin. Hurts my cheekbones to shoot it more than 20 rounds.

Mine has a Vortex Razor Gen II 3-18x50 on it. Definitely needs a riser.

yep I have a karsten cheek rest and like it alot . like spam said I am not ready to drop 800.00 on a stock with an adjustable cheek piece. the install is pretty easy . I used a drill press and made some shims to keep the stock level when I drilled the holes.
