I just wanted to post that I installed my extractor today with no issues. Went in flawlessly and then did a function check with brass and steel cased ammo using a gen 3 10 rd pmag. Very pleased with all the products that Crosshair puts out. Thanks again!

I've been beating on one of these new extractors for a while now. I've done a few matches with it and the extractor has held to that abuse no problem. These are 50 shot matches with 5-10 shot rapid fire strings. My loads are pretty spicy too so I'm not taking it easy on the thing. Apart from matches, I also took it out a few times to do some varmint splodin' and long range plinking. Each of those were multi-100 round endurance shoots. Steel case, brass case, hot, super hot, too hot, trying to break it and the extractor has held up to all of it. Every MVP owner should have a pair of these along with ball detents and springs in their kit. I say a pair because you know you're going to lose one in the dirt some day. Given the performance of the factory extractor I can't see not having one or two of these on hand for WHEN your factory unit busts.

    Misfit13 and Spamassassin,
I really appreciate you both taking the time to write back regarding your extractor install and results! I'm loving that it is standing up to those "spicy" loads, and I'm thrilled to hear that nobody is having any issues using PMags. Rob and I did extensive testing on that extractor, and went through several design changes and manufacturing processes before we were confident enough to release it to the public. I have to admit that even Rob and I could never have put the extractor through some of the most torturous conditions that you have, Spamassassin. I can truly sleep well at night knowing that our extractor can take the punishment you've been putting it through. I really appreciate the feedback. Thanks again.
I'm going to put that knowledge to good use in the 7.62 extractor, as I've heard it is having similar issues with fatigue and fracturing. Thank you both for your support and business. Happy shooting.

    Grumpy,

No problem sir. It is on our list of stuff to do. I don't know a time frame right now. I can try and give you a better idea after the weekend.

No problem Herb, you should see at the top of your page a message indicator or it may say alert. I sent it just a minute ago. Refresh your page and see if it pops up.
