This is a 243 conversion that will be offered soon. It will come with a Rock Creek barrel. These are not cheap barrels. They are 5r cut riffled barrels that are match grade with a 1-8 twist and chambered using a match reamer by X-ring. It will also come with our machined barrel nut as well. We can offer them in a few different contours. This one is a slightly larger version of the stock Predator barrel and will require a small amount of inletting to fit. We can also give you an exact match if you prefer. If anyone is interested in one of these or in a different caliber let us know.

I'd shoot my mom in the foot (not really, just a figure of speech) for a 24" barrel in 6.5 Creedmoor…sorry Mom...;)

Yes, it's on the list. Ya your mom might be a little upset. Just saying.

She's a pretty good sport and not at all timid about returning fire, so I had better watch myself...

I'd like to see a 24" 7mm-08 chambering but since I don't own a .308 MVP to begin with I don't think my opinion matters.

I see this thread has been revived from a few months back, has enough interest been shown? I have't seen any pricing
Just wondering if these are still going to be available or more of a built per request type deal.

Mike, I am not sure on the lr what the profile is. We can take some measurements and find out.

Moose, you are pretty much right on. I was trying to get a grasp on interest. I only got a couple of people asking. I would still like to it. Multiple caliber's is easy to do, the nut is the same.

Spam, all opinions matter to me and 7-08 was one of the asked for calibers to do.

Are the barrel nuts ready for ship for the .223 platform? I'd like to pick one up if they are. Need to start building the parts bucket for the eventual re-barrel and blueprinting. I figure I'm probably coming up on the mid-life of my existing tube as hard as I beat on it.

    Hey Rob,

Any updates on 7.62 conversions? I am working on a MVP 7.62 build in .510 caliber and am in need of a barrel nut! I'm also looking for the dimensions of the 7.62 barrel tennon.

    Thanks!

    Hi Steve,
We have decided that with PTG making nuts and X-Caliber doing barrels there is no need to try and compete with these two. PTG makes a great product and X-caliber barrels are doing well from what I hear.

    Thanks Rob

    Okay, thank you.

I will see if one of them will make a 7.62 barrel nut for me.
