Sabo, Just replace the Magwell & everything will fit. I replaced mine 2wks ago with a "Tromix" and all my mags(P-Mags, Lancer, Brownells, DSG, ) fit and function well. Tromix makes an excellent Quality product, glad I found them on the Forum.

They don't make one for the 7.62, just the 5.56. I have no experience with Thermold. I've used M-14 type magazines, ASC, and Magpul and they have all worked. Make sure the Thermold follows the LR308/SR25 or M-1A/M-14 format. Those are the only ones the rifle is designed to accept.

IS that from the mag well or from the magazine? I would hope it would be the magazine since they are easier to procure than the mag well is.

Hey, that's great to hear! I know in the past a few guys here have posted that, when they contacted Mossberg CS to see if they could purchase an easily replaceable part, CS wanted them to pack the whole gun up and send it in to have their repair shops perform the work. I wonder if it means they might be easing up on that policy and making other replacement parts more easily available.

The lady didn’t even mention sending the gun back, and I would not have done that even if they demanded it.

well I received the mag guide today..same issue..Pmag rocks back and forth, M-14 mag locks up solid. I believe it may be in the size of the mags.

Could be. Could also be due to where the mags lock in place. I sis not pay that close of attention when I test fitted and used the M-14 magazines at the range. They worked and that was all I was worried about. The slop on the Sr25/LR308 mags varies on make for me. I think ASC was the most loose but the stock D&H, ASC, and Magpul all work well. Though the bolt catch feature on the AR mags was a bit annoying at times the last time I shot. I just wanted to close the bolt a few times with an enpty mag but nooo....

ASC mags work fantastic in my Predator. Feed much easier than the supplied P-mag.
