inerlogic, we appreciate the post and telling people about our stuff. I am also happy to hear that everything I noticed in using the mag release is the same that you noticed as well. We are working on the mag well at this time and hope to have it ready soon. If our 308 version ever shows up we will be doing the same thing for it.

    Thank you as always

    Inerlogic,
Thanks so much for the kind words and support. Rob and I really put our heart and soul into our parts because we are shooters too, and know what it's like when a part just isn't to our liking. This magazine release, as simple as it may look, took quite a bit of tweaking to get just right and I'm thrilled with the way it performs and looks in the rifle. You're absolutely correct about the weight of the release. It's quite a bit lighter than the original as its made from the best 6061-T6 aluminum and then hard coated and anodized to military standards for many years of reliable service. Our trigger guard has the same material and finish to match. I'm almost done with the magazine well design, and will have a prototype made shortly for testing. Things are moving forward at a hectic pace because I'd like to have all of these parts wrapped up in time for the Vegas Shot Show that we'll be attending in January. That's good for you and not so good for me, but that's how it goes. Thank you so much for your business. We truly appreciate it! Happy shooting.

New member here. I just picked up my MVP Varmint today. I would love to replace the stock mag release and the trigger guard also. If these are still available, I would love to get a set.

    Thanks.

Robert, The 7.62 Varmint trigger guard fit perfectly. Add me to the list for a mag release and an ejector when they're available. Any thoughts on making a replacement bolt sleeve to get rid of the excessive slop of the MVP action? I looked at using some bearing material to make up the difference, but that appears problematic. Perhaps a thin sleeve to fit over the bolt shank??

Mx, Glad to hear that. I will certainly add you to the list. We are looking into a solution for the sloppy bolt as well.

    Thanks Rob

New member and new owner of MVP 7.62 Predator. I have been reading thru the forum, and I am wanting to buy one of the extended magazine releases. Could somebody point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance!
