Invited 3 guests to shoot at the local club where I have a membership; I spent most of my time hosting and spotting for my guests, and visiting with other club members..

One fella had a Blackout and a M1A SOCOM.
Another fired his Vanguard .270 & Stagg 5.56 AR
The 3rd guest fired his DPMS ORC (5.56).

Everyone accomplished their stated objectives, they made swiss cheese out of paper; powder out of clays.

Lots of fun, nothing lost, and nobody hurt.

A good day on the range IMO

Sounds like the ideal day. Just out relaxing and having a harmless good time.

So much of my life has occurred on a range of one type or another; I really do feel right at home on the rifle/pistol range.

People tell me that I change when I'm shooting. Apparently I become noticeably relaxed and mellow. It's more zen than watching a camp fire.

Shooting can be so relaxing. As long as you haven't loaded up on caffeine while awaiting your turn to be able to shoot. I did that once and could settle down enough to make the range time worth while.

Yesterday, a woman in her mid 60s occupied the next pistol range over; she wasn't shooting single shot either.

Granny was going through the 15 round mags.....double-tappn....

The robots and boogeyman took a beating; the Martian target desintergrated. Grandchildren love shooting them
