I've carried my HK USP 40 for years. During the summer months though, it was challenging. This year I broke down and bought a HK P2000 in 40 S&W. Much more manageable.

Go ahead and let me have it cuz I can take it! I carry a M&P .22lr. Yeah I know, not much punch to it but a really, really long conversation with a quite smart individual convinced me it would do me no wrong. Nice and light so the wife likes it when I am not with her. Looks like prices at some places are starting to drop so an M&P .40 will be coming home soon.

I know of a few peeps that carry 22 LR pistols. In the right hands, it can be very dangerous to the opposing side.

I'm 5'4" and weigh 140lbs. I carry a Glock 19 in a Galco Combat Master holster. I struggled with finding a comfortable rig, and this one has definitely been the best for me.

That is my point exactly. With ammo being 1/4 the cost of say .40 cal. I can train 4 times as much, or more. Not aiming at bulls-eye targets but silhouettes and only the throat/neck and head shots. Both eyes open triple taps. Mindful that most people will freak out if facing a victim with a firearm and taking advantage of that. Training, training, training! Crazy world out there!

I carry a Beretta PX4 .40 Full size (6' 220lbs, love baggy shirts :) ) When I'm out and about. Keep a Ruger LC9 in my shoulder bag when I head in to work.

I carry as much as possible. Unfortunately for me I have to tuck my shirt in at work. In am just under 6 foot and I am skinny as a bean stalk so its hard for me to conceal well. I usually carry my ruger lcp .380 in a cheap kydex iwb at my appendix. Sometimes I opt for my g23 at my 5o'clock. I even get a wild hair evyer now and then to carry my sp101 357 3" but it isn't as comfortable as I would like. Being skinny I dont have too many options as to not print but my lcp + appendix carry does pretty well for me.
One thing that I like to say is that, yea the .380 is underpowered and only 6 shots but those six shots give me time to get to my truck and grab the g23.

I'm 6 ft. 185 I've carried everything from a 5 inch 1911 to a compact 1911. doesn't print much with a t-shirt. but a year ago I went to a Sig p227. Felt like I had a howitzer on my hip. Then I moved to a Sig m11 it's a nice in between pistol. Still fall back on my trusty rattle box 1911 from now and again.

Nice shooting! May you never be in the situation that you need 48 rounds of 45acp to stop a threat!;)

at one time I was big into bowling pin matches . shoot as fast and as accurate as you can and dont let grass grow under your feet changing mags . getting older takes its toll and Im not as fast as I use to be but I can still hold my own.

For the most part I carry 3 different handguns. I prefer a 1911 first. In that category it's mostly a commander size but will carry a full-size in colder months. Next up is a Glock 19. I have many of these guns but Ben Simonson of Boresight Solutions did one for me that I really fond of. More like a 1911 then a Glock now. Lastly is a Kahr TP9. I prefer this gun when riding my motorcycles. Extremely thin, extremely accurate.

Now that the summer is gone, I've switched back to the gun I actually LIKE to carry.

She;s starting to get a bunch of finish wear after 2 years. I OC it foten in a kydex holster and that is the culprit. I think a gun with some wear is a sexy thing though.

I carry a Springfield Armory loaded lightweight model M1911 A1 in a Don Hume P.C.C.H IWB holster year round almost every day and have either gotten used to it , found it comfortable or just reserved myself to deal with it because its my only choice. I carry it with such frequency mostly because it is my only handgun, of course it is my only handgun for a (good) reason.

CZ P-09. 19+1 of 9mm, usually Federal HST, but sometimes Hornady Critical Whatever. Now that summer is approaching, I'm hoping the wifey will let me pick up a 9mm Shield. :D
