Post pictures and descriptions of your AR rifles and pistols here. Sweeeet AR-15 Porn:D!! I'll get it started.

This is my Rock River Arms SBR lower with a 12.5" Daniel Defense 1/7 barrel and an Adams Arms gas piston system. It's the "no frills" ideal truck gun!

Here were a few past and present. I am changing my Vortex red dot sight to an Optisan Mamba 1-4x24 with an SWFA SSALT mount. For $150 including the $69 mount and at $50 off it was a killer deal with a side focus and 55gr M193 calibrated reticle for that price. WAY cheaper than anything else including the Konus 1-4 and others. Its gotten really high marks according to others that I've talked to so I'll let you know how it goes.

Where have all the AR-15 uppers gone? Most manufacturers have stated that their assembled upper receivers are not available for direct sales due to high order volumes and retention for their own product builds. Plus the cheapest assembled upper receiver I have found on Gunbroker is 85 dollars from a third tier supplier. Most top tier manufactured non stripped upper receivers are running around the 120-150 range. Simple supply or demand or is there something else brewing? What has everyone heard?

Working on getting the Eotech dialed in at 50 yards. That last group on target #4 was about 15 rounds in 2 second intervals.

The flash on the camera kind of washes out the paint job and makes it look alot lighter than it is. It is closer to flat dark earth.

Here's my newest. Rock River Operator with a Vortex Viper PST 2.5-10x44 with a side mounted Razor 3 MOA Red dot. I might take this optic off of the Rock and put it in my LWRC M6 and put the little acog on the rock. What would you guys do?

This worked out awesome. Parallax issues under 25 yards, but I'm on my third one because i keep using them. One of the best bang for the bucks out there for an AR.

And a new variant. New gun, new setup. Nice and light weight and very user friendly.

I was going to say try changing the background to it and go a bit lighter, and hopefully multi colored, and take outdoors with no flash. Use indirect natural light and it'll come out a lot nicer for the photo. I'd bet that looks good.

    Palmetto State Armory lower
FN 16" upper with A2 flash hider removed and thread cover added
    Mid-length gas system
ACE rifle length stock and rifle buffer
    A2 front sight obviously
A2 grip with a rip wrap (this is the only way to drop magazines freely in CA our wonderful state because it is considered a hunting rifle or a "non-featured" rifle. You have to look into the CA law as to why we have to do this.)
Boonie-Packer Sling that needs adjusting and better mounting
    Matech BUIS
    Burris P.E.P.R. QD 30mm mount.
Optisan Mamba 1-4x30 scope with red/green illumination and calibrated for M193 ammo BDC.

I build this one as a budget setup to plink with for under 1k all said and done.

My build, 14.5" lightweight midlength, simple, and weighs in at a whopping 6.5lbs unloaded (and neutered per NJs stupid laws). Hoping to find a 18.5" barrel MVP to accompany it soon.
