Anyone know of a mainspring I can replace the stock one with? I have a spare Savage 110/10 mainspring but is not the correct size
My patrol shoots everything very accurately, however cannot ignite really cheap surplus corrosive 308 i have from the 70's. maybe 1 in 10 ignite.
Those primers go bang in the M1A everytime.
I have thousands of milsurp crap and want to use it.
    Advice??

Edit:I just realized Ive never taken the bolt apart to check for burrs and such, maybe I can adjust the firing pin protrusion by 1/2mm

Never had occasion to measure mine. Other fellas have had theirs apart. My Guess is Wolfe Gun Spring will have what you need listed by dimensions.

If you adjust it should be done by thousandths of an inch, not fractions of a millimeter. Ask me how I know.
